Shaq & Hoops SPLIT!

It looks like Shaq’s relationship with his pint-sized lover has come to an end.
Over the weekend, Hoopz confirmed to ‘The Boston Globe‘ that she is no longer on the trail to becoming a Basketball Wife. She has split with Shaq just a few short weeks after she was spotted on the set of a new Adam Sandler movie with him. Over the past year, the two were also developing a show based on Hoopz suburban life, desire to become a health and fitness guru and relationship with Shaq.
According to Black Sports Online, trouble began to brew a few weeks back after Hoopz visited the Orlando Metro Gymnastics facility for some serious gymnastics training after being inspired by Gabby Douglas’ Olympic win.

The gym doesn’t teach people over the age of 18 for insurance purposes and when Hoopz was told this she lost her mind. She started to curse out the staff and became belligerent. She got extremely loud, screaming at the top of her lungs how she needed to train for the 2016 Olympics.
Shaq was embarrassed, he dropped his head like he was ashamed of her. He didn’t say anything while they were in the gym, but once they got to their car a heated argument took place. You could hear and see them screaming at each other. I felt bad for him.

Hoopz wanting some gymnastics training isn’t too far off of the mark. She’s definitely athletic which is what made her and Shaq’s coupledom a dynamic pairing. The two spent a lot of time at home on their lawn learning athletic stunts like having Hoopz carry Shaq on her back and backflipping off of his abs. They would have definitely been interesting to watch on television.

These days, she’s all grown up and spending a lot of her time focused on her budding music career. BBW's Gloria lands new movie role!!

It looks as though those acting classes that Gloria Govan was taking during the first season of Basketball Wives LA is starting to pay off. She’s about to put those acting chops to the test as she takes her talents from reality show TV to the big screen.

Over the past few months, she has been preparing for her new role in an upcoming short film series ‘Clean Ops’ which is expected to premiere this Winter. The series is about an agency that trains inner city kids in the performing arts as well as the art of being an assassin and in the first installment, Gloria stars as a trained ballerina by day and an assassin by night who gets her assignments from a guy only known as ‘Mr. Drop’. The films are being developed into a comic book franchise, feature film, mobile game and television series (which may end up equaling a lot of dough for Gloria if it takes off and she negotiated her contract right).
Oh, and her former Basketball Wives of Miami cast mates may wanna watch out. Gloria was recently asked in an interview who she would use her new moves on and she responded:

"I think I’d use my moves on every cast member in Miami. I would wait for Evelyn. (Watch out Gloria...Eveyln is ABOUT THAT LIFE!!)   Evelyn would be last. I’d knock out Shaunie first. And then … you know Royce apologized to me after the last reunion. So, I wouldn’t knock her out. I’d just smack the sh*t out of her. Susie I like. You can just imagine the stories that Jada Pinkett Smith has told her children about her friendship with the late rapper Tupac Shakur. The two became inseparable as teens after meeting at Baltimore School For The Arts and Jada became the inspiration for many of Pac’s love poems before he was gunned down in 1996.
Over the weekend, Jada’s daughter Willow, recently shared a hand-written letter to Tupac that she wrote when she was younger, saying that she knew he was still breathing out there somewhere. The letter also hints that Jada may have been having a hard time accepting his death as Willow writes that she wants him to come back “so mommy and me can be happy”:


The letter said:

“Dear Tupac,
I know you are alive someplace! I think that my mommy really misses you.
Can you please come back can you come back so momy and me can be happy!
I wish you were here…
I really do!
Love, Willow”


In 1999, Tupac’s most intimate poems and thoughts were released in a book titled, ‘A Rose Who Grew From Concrete’ and it included a poem titled, ’4 Jada’

Although, many believed they had a romantic relationship, Jada has been on record saying that there was nothing more between her and Pac than a platonic friendship:

Pac and I were never in a romance but I do know that we had those feelings for each other. It was more of a platonic romance between he and I that we put inside a brother, sister, sometimes mother, son, father, daughter good friends relationship. We knew us being together in a romantic way would destroy everything because we were both fire. We would burn everything up! So we knew in order to preserve our relationship there was no way we could ever add romance to it cause we probably would’ve killed each other!

DJ Khaled facing EVICTION!!

DJ Khaled  can spin it anyway he wants ... but his landlord has sued to have him evicted, claiming the famous deejay failed to pay $55,000 in back rent.

According to court docs filed in Miami, Khaled rented an apartment last September from Misci LLC and agreed to make two bulk payments of $66,000 for rent. Khaled made the first payment, but according to the landlord's lawsuit ... he failed to make the second one after re-working the deal to pay $11,000 upfront and the remaining $55,000 a month later.

Two weeks later, Misci says they gave Khaled three days notice to vacate the property, but he refused. Misci then filed a lawsuit to get their money back (plus attorneys' fees) and have Khaled removed from the apartment.

The case is still ongoing.

The annual Runway RED fashion extravaganza benefits Show Me the Way Foundation’s efforts on HIV/AIDs research and awareness. Proceeds from the show fund the SHE and HOLLA Back programs of the Show Me the Way Foundation, which educate youth infected or affected with HIV/AIDs on the disease and the importance of abstinence.

Vh1 Pulls "Ev & Ocho" from Fall Line Up!

In a surprise turn of events, VH1 has pulled Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco’s new reality show, ‘Ev & Ocho’ from their Fall Line up.

In an official statement, sent via VH1′s publicity department in the wake of the domestic violence incident that happened over the weekend, VH1 stated:

Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.

Which means the show may never see the light of day. Yikes!

This is interesting considering the cast of ‘Basketball Wives’ has been slapping up folks on television for two seasons.

But now we hear CHAD'S side of the story, and he says that Evelyn HEAD BUTTED HIM!!!
Here is an excerpt from the police report that Evelyn filed against Chad Johnson. According to Chad ... it was EVELYN who head butted him. It's not clear whether police are looking to prosecute HER for spousal abuse!!!

Johnson confirmed that he and Evelyn Lozada were arguing in regards to a sales receipt. During the argument Evelyn Loada began yelling F*CK IT!! She then head butted Johnson. This caused the laceration on her forehead.

Hmmm!! I TOLD YALL EVEYLN WAS ABOUT THAT LIFE!!!

Ochocinco FIRED FROM THE DOLPHINS!

As of this morning, Chad has been released on a $2500 bond and ordered to stay away from Evelyn until this is resolved.

Chad Ochocinco was arrested last night for domestic violence and less than 24 hours later he's been reportedly cut from the Miami Dolphins. The NFL star met with head coach Joe Philbin today, just hours after being released from a Florida jail.

So what happened? Well, so far reports tell me Ochocinco head-butted Evelyn after they got into an argument when she found a receipt for condoms in the couple's Maserati. Wife of about a month, Evelyn Lozada, was taken to the hospital for a laceration on her head. She has since been released. Ochocinco, real name Chad Johnson, apparently told police he accidentally butted heads with her. He was then taken to jail, where he spent the night.

Ochocinco was released about 10am and apparently had the meeting with Philbin this afternoon. The Dolphins initially released a short statement indicating officials were investigating the incident, but they have not confirmed that the player has been cut.

Chad Ochocinco Arrested!

Chad Ochocinco is spending the night behind bars, according to reports, after getting into a domestic violence incident with new wife Evelyn Lozada. The NFL player and Basketball Wives star got in an altercation after she found a receipt for condoms in his vehicle.

Other reports indicate Ochocinco reportedly head-butted his wife, who allegedly had lacerations on her arms when law enforcement officers arrived on scene. Ochocinco, real name Chad Johnson, apparently told police he accidentally butted heads with her. Well I know Eveyln, got her hits in because she's proven on more than one occasion..SHE'S ABOUT THAT LIFE!!

He was then taken into custody where he'll reportedly stay until he goes in front of a judge.

The NFL star proposed in November 2010 with a very, very big diamond ring. They got married about four months ago.

Florida prosecutors INTENTIONALLY released the photo of Trayvon Martin shortly after he died. If you look closely at the grainy pic, you see Trayvon in the FETAL POSITION.
We suspect that someone released this in an attempt to get George Zimmerman a MISTRIAL . . . and allow him to go free. We think it is IMPORTANT to see the picture . . . like it was important to see the photo of EMMITT TILL (which was reprinted in EVERY Black newspaper). . . so that even as Trayvon's story LEAVES moves out of the mainstream media, we NEVER forget the horror that the young man endured.

Stevie J's new side chick SENTENCED!!

It looks as if Stevie J's new side chick "Sylver Karatz" has to put her upcoming rap career on HOLD becuase yesterday she was sentenced for her role in a tax fruad ring.

Here's how News WCPO inCincinatti is reporting it:


Sylver Gunn, a local rapper also known as "Sylver Karatz", was busted for filing 24 false claims for tax returns and for theft of government funds.

Judge Herman Weber ordered Gunn to pay $100, 287 in restitution to the IRS and $18, 299 to the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority. The judge also sentenced Gunn to five years probation, 21 months of which will be served in home confinement.

Gunn pleaded guilty to the charges on April 4.

Records show Gunn filed 24 false claims based on fraudulent federal income tax returns filed with the IRS between January of 2009 and February 2010.

K. Michelle has shared her story of abuse on ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ and now she is attempting to spread her message further by partnering up with Saving Our Daughters’ Yell Confidence initiative for a Stop The Violence Against Women campaign.

The campaign, titled ‘I Am Here’, aims to raise funds to provide resources to teens and younger adults with self worth issues. The campaign also hopes to bring groups of teen girls/young adults together to share their experiences while encouraging them to stand up and be confident in themselves all while making a positive difference in their community.
In the PSA, uploaded to youtube yesterday, a battered and bruised K Michelle states:

Toya responds to K.Michelle

Everyone knows that there has been some going back and forth between Toya Wright & K.Michelle,
however after K Michelle went on the Breakfast Club earlier in the week, Toya Wright decided that she had had enough. In an interview with Talking With Tami, she defended Memphitz while saying that K Michelle has no proof of any of her claims. She also said that from what she’s heard, K Michelle is the crazy one and she wants K to keep her family’s name out of her mouth.

I promised myself that I was never going to talk about that because she’s so irrelevant to me. But I’m gonna say this…the picture she’s painting of my husband is not my husband. I’ve been knowing him for six years. I knew several women that even dated him that never said anything about abuse. If somebody abused you like that, where’s the proof. Where’s the police report? Where’s the pictures? Where’s the messages, that you claimed that he sent threats to your kid and threatened to kill your child? These are the things that it don’t matter about love. You would be in jail if you threatened my kid…
She’s saying that I said all this stuff about her, but pull it up. Where is it? I never said anything about that situation. Never addressed it and I told myself I wouldn’t. But a friend of mine just called me about a interview she did on The Breakfast Club and I mean, that’s my husband. I don’t know you. I was not there when ya’ll had the altercation, true. But I’ma be 100 percent supportive of my man. I don’t know you. I don’t know the person, this abuser. I never met that guy. I don’t know nothing about him abusing women or nothing…He’s a loving person. He’s very affectionate. Anybody that knows him for real be like “What is wrong with this girl?” And the crazy part about is, everybody says that you’re crazy, you hit them. Everybody I know say you’re the abuser.

She continued:

I just wish she’d just stop saying my name. Like pump your music up. You was given a platform. I was given a platform. I was here to tell my story. I’ve been through a lot of things with my ex. Ya’ll don’t know about that [because] I’m not here to bash him. Please stop talking about me and my husband and my family. Go promote your music and do what you gotta do on your show. God gave you a platform. Use it.
I’m not a negative person. I don’t wanna fight you. I’m happy. I love my husband. It does not matter what you say, I’m not leaving him. Show me the proof. That’s what I wanna see. If you can show me where he beat you. If you can show me the police reports. If you can show me the emails, the messages. If you can show me where he stole your money. You have all these false allegations, but no proof. Show everybody.
And he’s so hurt right now behind this. Because Mona Scott called him to come be a part of the show and I told him don’t feed into that. Do what you have to do. Get your attorney involved. She has no story line. You are her story line. Why would you go be a part of that? Mona called him up to do the reunion show. Like “No, we are not tryna help you get ratings.”

R&B Singer Jhene Akio has finally released the offical video for 3:16 am.Jhene uses the dark video to address her deepest darkest thoughts while singing, ‘I do not fear the fear of falling, I wanna fly, if it all goes well, then oh well…’. Her description of the video also makes you wonder if the song is about her fear of selling her soul:

I have really dark thoughts sometimes. The song is me exploring those types of thoughts. People are going to see the video and they are going to be like, ‘she sold her soul’ and it’s like I’m just being honest about the things I think about because I think people ignore them. But ignoring something doesn’t make it disappear, you have to kind of address it and understand [it]. That’s what 3:16 is. The hours of 3 and 5 is when I am really addressing those dark thoughts. There is clarity in those dark moments because you will go there and it comes from a very personal place. When you are true to yourself and honest with yourself, it’s easier for people to connect with you because you are being you.

"Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim's tape," claims the source. "The video already existed, and Kris was there every step of the way as a middleman - [she] was brought in to market it to an adult entertainment company." The tape was ultimately released for sale by Vivid Video, which reportedly paid $1 million for the rights."

The source - who PASSED A POLYGRAPH TEST at Star's request - claims: "I saw Kris Signature on the contract; I believe she got somewhere between $250K and $500K for the original deal."

Well K Michelle came out DENYING those claims. According to K Michelle, she is NOT schizophrenic and she has FULL CUSTODY of her one child, a son.

The Grammy Award winner has just been revealed as the next face of the noted beauty brand following Queen Latifah, Sofia Vergara and more.

"Joining a group of women who have always inspired me —to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look — is such an honor," Pink said in a statement.

In addition to work on a new album, Pink recently wrapped up her first campaign photoshoot. The results of that, promoting "bold new mascara innovation," will be seen this Fall.

Sherman Hemsley cause of death revealed!

Earlier today, Sherman Hemsley's (George Jefferson) cause of death was revealed.


A statement from the coroner's office in El Paso, TX, states that Hemsley died from a complication of lung cancer known as Superior Vena Cava Syndrome. The illness is triggered by an obstruction that causes a narrowing or blockage of the second largest vein in the body.

K.Michelle alledgedly a "Schizophrenic" & MORE!!

We all know that K.Michelle has made it very clear that Toya's husband Memphitz abused her, & Toya has had enough! Here's what she had to say!


 In a recent interview, Toya claims that K Michelle has CERTIFIED mental problems . . . and her problems are so bad that the GOVERNMENT came and took away her kids.

Who is Ariane Davis?

As we watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, I know everyone is probably wondering the same thing. Who is Mimi's BEAUTIFUL friend? After doing a little bit of research, I've come up with the answers to that million dollar question.


Her name is Ariane Davis and she's a well known bartender at the famous "King Of Diamonds" strip club and she also dated Memphitz. Yes, Toya's husand and the same guy K. Michelle says physically abused her. Ariane is also a aspiring singer who moved from Mississippi to Atlanta to persue her music career. She's also Mimi's bestfriend.

Aaliyah's brother says "There will be NO album".

I know earlier this week I posted that Drake was supposed to be producing Aaliyah's posthumous album along with his producing partner Noah "40" Shebib as well as a biopic which has been going on for years... but here's some RECENT news. Her brother Rashad said that there will be "NO ALBUM". Here's the full story.

Her brother Rashad had took to Facebook page yesterday and stated that there is NO ALBUM in the works that is endorsed by her family.

That’s confusing since her label’s logo (ran by her uncle Barry Hankerson) was included on the official artwork that was released. That track was definitely endorsed by the label. This could have all been Rashad’s way of saying that the project (which may be in production) is not supported by her immediate family.
He also responded to the rumors about her biopic. He wrote "No female I've seen can play my sister."

Kim's Kanye's "Perfect B****"!!

It's OFFICAL!! Look out for Kanye's new single  titled "Perfect B****" dropping in the next feew weeks to come. Kanye has admitted on Twitter  that he wrote this song for his "Perfect B****" Kimmy! Kanye is no stranger to talking about his relationships on his records. Almost his entire "808s and Heartbreaks" album was about his breakup with ex-girlfriend Alexis Phifer, followed by him talking about Amber Rose on "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy".

Maybe this Kim'Yeezy romance is REAL after all. Sources also say that Kanye  has tentatively titled “My Perfect Bitch” due to the repetitive chorus, uses the same melody from the 1937 composition “Carmina Burana,” a cantata by German composer Carl Orff.

Kanye debuted his new single earlier this past weekend at DJ Reach's birthday party at the PH-D rooftop lounge in New York. This single is set to be "Cruel Summer" compilation album with his record label G.O.O.D. Music.

“I don’t think Swizz is relevant. I’m keeping it 100. I think there’s a difference between relevance and musical relevance. You married a lady that’s poppin’ [Alicia Keys], you know it’ll give you a lot of relevance, but you gotta make hits. Ain’t no hits. Are you relevant for the craft you’re doing or the life you live as far as the decisions you make?”

Earlier today Drake released a new song featuring Aaliyah's vocals called "Enough Said". It's said to be featured on Drakes upcoming album "October's Very Own". A few weeks ago rumors were swirling that Drake would be the executive producer for a posthumous album by her. Drake must really LOVE him some Aaliyah. Just yesterday The Tat, located on the side of his rib cage, says ’416′ which is Toronto’s area code, as well as 116, which is Aaliyah’s birthdate (January 16). Drake also has Aaliyah’s face tatted on his back.

Money Making Floyd...home from JAIL!!

Earlier today boxer Floyd Mayweather was released from prison after spending three months in jail for domestic battery against his ex-girlfriend and mother of his 2 kids. He took to his twitter page to thank all of his fans that wrote to him while he was incarcerated.

Even with him being locked up, that didn't stop him from making sure that his wifey (Shantel Jackson) aka Miss Jackson was a success. Floyd started off by paying for a 10 person dinner at N9ne Steakhouse at the Palms Casino in Vegas which also included a very expensive cake. Shantel's cake was in the shape of a $30,000 Balenciaga bag. Later she got more expensive gifts, she recieved a diamond watch from Floyd, along with a matching bracelet and ring. Floyd's close friend 50 was on the scene to support Shantel as he tweeted pictures of her gifts.

50 tweeted, "Balenciaga alligator bag $30,000 birthday cake priceless want a slice. Got damn this must be love Floyd going hard from jail. Happy birthday @msjackson”
